I have installed the adapter, but the computer cannot find the product I connected.

Try disconnecting the adapter from the computer, connecting the desired device to the adapter and reconnecting the cable. Also remember to switch the connected device on.

Why did my computer install the driver itself when I connected the adapter to my USB port?

Check the label on the back of your adapter. If the model is 133-08C/133-08D, you have the latest hardware version that does not need a separate driver installation.

Why don't you have a driver for Windows 10 & Windows 11?

No separate driver is needed for Windows 10 & Windows 11. It will be installed automatically when connecting. Applies to model 133-08D.

Which chipset is in the adapter and where can I find information on it?

There is a PL-2303TA chipset in the 133-08C adapter and a PL-2303GT chipset in the 133-08D adapter.
